As Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect goes retrograde it tends to create a certain level of confusion and they are all obvious ones.

Now in Virgo, one of the signs ruled by Mercury, its effect might be more significant than when in the other signs as we fall under the spell of constant thinking, calculating and questioning. There are defiantly two sides of this coin. First, there is not much we can do about the actions of others, except to be more conscious and prepared for any delays or errors by double checking. Secondly, as much as outer matters can be challenged, introspection and inner work is very supported.

Though said by many Astrologers to not make any important moves when Mercury is retrograde I have found it to be an excellent time for more productive and focused activities, especially related to self improvement. Therefor, take advantage of this energy flow by clearing your own tendencies to get caught up in your own shadows and those of others.

Another key when Mercury retrogrades in the highly detail-oriented and somewhat critical Virgo is to avoid getting stuck in over analyzing things or worrying too much about the outcome. Instead, use this period as a thorough inventory of your life as it favors organization, planing and solving practical problems. Areas touched are those ruled by Virgo: work and daily routines as well as health and wellness.

As the solar returns into Virgo, the sign of fertility, work and purity, it's like a calm breeze moving in after a long hot summer. Virgo belongs to the element earth meaning they are productive and grounded beings with a strong sense of duty.

Virgos are generally respectable, hard-working individuals with a shyness that can make them appear distant and untouchable. True, they might not be the most confident souls in the Zodiac but they do have a warm heart and care for others well being - sometimes at their own expense.

Virgos display an extraordinary mixture of pride and humility that aids them in being effective and diligent workers. They are kind, curios and practical people, always ready to give an assisting hand. The back of this coin displays as a tendency to be naive and picky and they do tend to worry about their health quite often.

Their gift to the world is to bring order where there is chaos and to create structures for our lives to function. Virgo is also the sign of healing and earthly wisdom, teaching us about the pure spirit in all that is and the concept of wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Enjoy the sunshine Virgo!

Ready or not, the winds of change are blowing as we once more are traveling through another eclipse season. All eclipses bring the unexpected, forcing us into action and bring news of the big events in life. All full moons emphasize on collaboration, commitment and to let go of those things we no longer need.

Aquarius is a highly idealistic sign, driven by Utopian visions that can be way ahead of their time. This sign is definitely an interesting blend of characteristics: communicative yet guarded, always seeking out the new and unusual and yet they are most comfortable with staying on course. The Aquarius full moon comes with a forward looking energy, aiming for higher ideals combined with a diplomatic approach and care for the less fortunate in the world. Our friends, larger groups and organizations are also part of today's energy, so decide which around you are genuine and resonating with your own visions and needs.
