The Sagittarius moon brings a bright, optimistic and pleasant energy, just ahead of the holiday season. It imposes a newfound sense of abundance, inspiring expansion and travel, and it stokes our thirst for learning. However, Mercury is currently retrograde in the same sign, so you might want to double-check or revisit any made plans.
New moons means new chapters and when influenced by the element fire, we get that long-awaited rekindling and spark we're looking for. Ruled by go-big-or-go-home Jupiter, we will all feel like Pioneers in Spirit this weekend. This also means you can expect changes to revolve around truth and knowledge-seeking, belief systems and faith. Media feeds us with half-truths and whole-delusion, depending on us being passive and uncritical. This new moon is that beacon of your own truth, to analyze the stream of illusions and to see whether it resonates with your core wisdom or not. So, lean into a progressive mindset. Find your visionary eyes or perhaps the Magician within. Do something new that makes you grow mentally and spiritually, and know - something wonderful is always waiting just around the bend! Sagittarius Note to Self: I believe in magic - therefore I see it. ~ Christine K.H ~

In Sagittarius, the planet of communication is once more in backspin, creating confusion, delays and overall errors. But not only.
Some blame Mercury retrograde for all the chaos that happens in their lives. However, this is a good time to take a step back and review - reanalyze who you are and re-do - rearrange where you're going and what you put your energy toward. When our planet of communication moves forward again, there is a short “shadow period” of adjustment. Here is when Mercury says: Don’t rush. Let any miscommunication work itself out. Be prepared for electronic kinks to get resolved. Use your energy towards intelligent changes. So, take a moment to reflect, but do refrain from making any drastic changes until the phase has ended. Mutable signs will feel this the most and on a deeper level. ~ Christine K.H ~ The Taurus full moon arrives during Scorpio season each year to anchor us during an astrologically intense time. Are you feeling ungrounded? Anxious for no discernible reason? Then feeding into this earthy Taurus energy can get your feet back on solid ground, making you stable enough to channel all that mystical Scorpio force into tangible form.
However, the moon in Taurus sits next to Uranus today—a planet of shock, upheaval and surprise. Combined with the sign's known resistance to change, tension on the axis of old versus new could appear. On a good note you may see some monetary rewards for financial maneuvers you made earlier and this could be a period of fulfillment, where you see the benefits of your strategies. The energy surrounding us now is sensual, with a down-to-earth nature and a fondness for the good things in life. In other words, this is a great time to treat yourself well but also to treat our planet well. So, what footprint do you wish to leave behind? What world would you like to return to in your next life? One of our spirit guides once said, "Don't think too big. Simply send healing to where you have your feet. Imagine if everyone did so." Taurus Note to Self: I cultivate beauty everywhere. ~ Christine K.H ~ The moon in Scorpio isn’t known for being low-key. Ruled by Pluto and Mars, both participating in this lunar event, we are led into a realm highly magical, intense and transformational, triggering us to take action in a big way, and fast. If you’re not comfortable with “what feels”, then it could be a bit overwhelming. However, diving into an ocean of emotion isn’t necessarily a bad thing because the greatest treasures are often found the deeper you’re willing to go.
Power, control, secrecy and release are all words associated with Scorpio, and this new moon asks us to check our relationships in search of these topics. Ask yourself: Who is worthy of my time and energy? Have I given my power away? Holding onto what is unsupportive can create blockages, whereas removing them creates space for the new and embarks on transformations for the better. Scorpios carry a multi-faceted spiritual purpose, teaching us about the acceptance of the self and how powerful, magical and divine we truly are. Today the veil between the realms is thinner, cosmic portals of wisdom and healing are more available, and hearing our soul is easier. So, sit in that feeling, recognize this inner immortal being that is you, and FEEL your truth and guidance. Scorpio Note to Self: I learn - I teach - I master. ~ Christine K.H ~ Theme: The Power to Heal
Today the Moon in Aries conjuncts Chiron, bringing a lunar energy that promises healing, not from trying to fix, control or force things, but from surrendering. When we surrender, it gives rise to acceptance, letting go and above all to forgive. Chiron is known as the Wounded Healer because he has learnt to find strength, wisdom, and the gifts that can come from his wounds. The Aries full moon brings out the warrior side in us and two potential outcomes could occur; Being too caught up by anger and drama OR a willingness to open those powerful portals of higher wisdom and compassion. It takes strength and courage to heal, so ask yourself: What do I need to release to make space for my purpose and healing? As the moon travels through this fiery realm she is spontaneous, determined, direct and pioneering. She can also become impatient and reckless but make no mistake, she has the power to lead us through the battlefields of life. Aries Note to Self: If I fall seven times, I stand up eight. ~ Christine K.H ~ The Libra moon highlights the importance of seeing other people as our sacred mirrors, of finding harmony between giving and receiving, of creating relationships based on reciprocity. Remember, we are in relationship with every single thing in our lives and each is our sacred mirror of reflection. Whether we dare to have an honest look or not is another question.
In astrology, Libra is known as the Zodiac’s natural peacekeeper. However, like its symbolic scale it constantly seeks harmony between two polar opposites and that can create a problem if you are seeking to please everyone. Compromise will be the key to navigating this lunar event. The energy of Libra reminds us to be grateful, to appreciate the beauty around us, to align the masculine and feminine qualities and to put high ideals into practice. The Venus ruled sign also teaches us to mediate in refined ways, to play fair and to erase differences between people by finding terms that work for everyone. The drumroll of the day: Form new relationships, reshape existing connections, find a common ground with your opposition and let that be your point of growth. Libra Note to Self: Love, peace and fairness are at my core. ~ Christine K.H ~ This lunar eclipse allows us to see things we didn’t see before and to establish a sense of trust. This is the first of a series of eclipses which will fall across the Pisces-Virgo axis over the next couple of years.
As the water energy dominates the sky today, the veil between the spirit world and the living is thinner than ever. Experiences of coincidences, Deja vu, symbolic dreams and other signs are stronger now. There’s a message in there, so follow the clues. Today, we are also directed to find a balance between our physical health (Virgo) and spiritual health (Pisces). A key signature for this eclipse is Neptune in close aspect, bringing in a quality of slowness, haziness, confusion and escapis. Anything neglected will come to the surface, how we meet it all is up to us. Eclipses tend to close doors that we have had difficulty closing ourselves. Fated events may put us where we need to be, even if we don’t like it at first. Pisces Note to Self: I turn my dreams into reality. ~ Christine K.H ~ The new moon today directs us to the areas ruled by Virgo; Work and practical matters, exercise and health as well as order and processes in general. But this moon is different in that we don't just plant new seeds, instead, we try to figure out what to do with what we've harvested.
Through Virgo, we get to understand the link between our physical health, our mental health, our emotional health and our spiritual health. We learn that wellness is multidimensional, that everything is interconnected and that energetics always manifest on different levels. This lunar event inspires us to observe and analyze things like how what we eat affects our mood, how our thoughts affect our body, how our emotional states affect our capacity to deal with our daily obligations effectively and vice versa. Questions asked:
Virgo Note to Self: I release stress with every breath. ~ Christine K.H ~ The zodiac is a story of the unfolding of human consciousness and every full moon is an opportunity to experience both sides of an equation. With the sun in Leo, encouraging us to experience self-renewal and the moon in the humanitarian sign, Aquarius, we find ourselves seeking a balance between the “I” and "WE" mentality.
Aquarius represents 'The Higher Mind' and this full moon brings the energy of illumination and revolution due to the hard aspect to Mercury and Uranus. Mercury, still in retrograde motion, could play tricks, but aims to help us see the bigger truth and to expand our way of thinking. Key to success? Let things shake and fall where they may, rather than trying to control them. With focus and collaboration, you and your tribe have power greater than your numbers. You can achieve whatever you set your collective mind to—so think differently. As Plato said, “Reality is created by the mind, we can change our reality by changing our mind". You say you want a revolution? Well, now is the time! Aquarius Note to Self: I evolve - We progress. ~ Christine K.H ~ How to survive a three week communication crisis? Silent the mind by imagining new ways to improve.
As Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect goes retrograde it tends to create a certain level of confusion and they are all obvious ones. Starting in VIRGO, one of the signs ruled by Mercury, its effect might be more significant than when in the other signs as we fall under the spell of constant thinking, calculating and questioning. When retrograding in LEO it can trigger passionate displays of expression that are sure to cause reactions from you and from others. There are definitely two sides of this coin. First, there is not much we can do about the actions of others, except to be more conscious and prepared for any delays or errors by double checking. Secondly, as much as outer matters can be challenged, introspection and inner work is very supported. Areas touched are those ruled by Virgo and Leo. Virgo: Work and daily routines as well as health and wellness. Leo: Confidence, leadership and creativity. ~ Christine K.H ~ |
