We have a rare occurrence of two full moons in Capricorn this year. Both will be influenced by Capricorn, but they will feel different due to the proximity of other planets. This time, Pluto is in the mix, making that grounding energy to rumble at best, be chaotic at worst.
Each full moon deals with the polarity between the sun and moon. On the Cancer-Capricorn axis we could feel torn between private and public life. Questions asked: Have you been too focused on work at the expense of your personal needs? Or, have you been too captive by your relationships that your work is suffering? What represents your life’s work? As you move through this lunar event, allow your consciousness to explore the different types of work in your life and then align and commit to whatever embodies your soul’s purpose. Capricorn Note to Self: I am strengthened through my efforts. ~ Christine K.H ~ This new moon asks us to check in with our feelings, and how our immediate surroundings either help or hinder our energy and flow through life. When the moon travels through her domestic sign, Cancer, needs and wants when it comes to comfort and security could rush to the surface.
We can become deeply nostalgic, or feel a profound longing, especially if our lives are not currently providing the kind of nurturing and support we need to thrive. We may also be tasked with confronting the past in some significant way, which is the moon's way of asking: Which memories are worth preserving, and which ones are you ready to stop feeling defined by? At this lunar event domestic matters, family dynamics, and the need to grow in emotional self-awareness will come to the forefront. But maybe we should think about how we can embrace the idea of feeling at home within ourselves? Feeling at home is really about acceptance. It is about embracing that this is where you need to be, even though you may feel challenged, fearful or at odds with what lies before you.
