You say you want a revolution? Well, now is the time!
Aquarius represents 'The Higher Mind' and this full moon brings the energy of illumination, helping us to see the bigger truth and to expand our way of thinking. In many ways our minds have been paralyzed by what's going on, stirred up by the media to a boiling point where man simply gives in. This lunar event asks you to clear the way and free your mind, or actually FREE yourself from any chains holding you back. Under this Aquarius full moon energy, it is better to let things shake and fall where they may, rather than trying to control them. With focus and collaboration, you and your tribe have power greater than your numbers. You can achieve whatever you set your collective mind to—so dream big and think differently. As Plato said, “Reality is created by the mind, we can change our reality by changing our mind". The ruler of Aquarius is Uranus, the bringer of revolution, independence and power to the people, aspiring to change the world through radical social progress. The July new moon falls in the water sign Cancer, the sign ruled by the moon, so our thoughts will linger around emotional connections, family and our domestic life in general. Needs and wants when it comes to comfort and security will also rush to the surface, in addition to how we care for ourselves and others.
Emotions may swell up from deep inner levels, breaking through the surface of an otherwise calm sea. We can become deeply nostalgic, or feel a profound longing, especially if our lives are not currently providing the kind of nurturing and support we need to thrive. Under the energies of this lunar event, think about how you can embrace this idea of feeling at home within yourself. Feeling at home is really about acceptance. It is about embracing that this is where you need to be, even though you may feel challenged, fearful, or at odds with what lies before you.
