The new moon in Libra highlights the importance of seeing other people as our sacred mirrors, of finding harmony between giving and receiving, of creating relationships based on reciprocity. Remember, we are in relationship with every single thing in our lives and each relationship is our sacred mirror of reflection. Whether we dare to have an honest look or not is another question.
In astrology, Libra is known as the zodiac’s natural peacekeeper, and a lot of people consider this to be the energy of level-headed logic and fairness at all costs. However, like its symbolic scale it constantly seeks harmony between two polar opposites and that can create a problem if you are seeking to please everyone. A key to solution is to understand that only when fully present in both can there be a balance. This lunar event reminds us to be grateful, to appreciate the beauty around us, to align the masculine and feminine qualities and to put high ideals into practice. It also teaches us to mediate in refined ways, to play fair and to erase differences between people by finding terms that work for everyone. The drumroll of the day is: Form new relationships, reshape existing connections, find a common ground with your opposition and let that be your point of growth. ~ Christine K.H ~

Theme: Don't fight your feelings - ride them!
The full moon can be interpreted as a magnifying glass which increases things in a way that no one can ignore. This one will be very emotional, perhaps the most emotional of them all. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and is all about the end. But not simply the end. This sign has a completion and finalizing energy, giving all people of all signs a chance to express their emotions with a touch of farewell. One topic that might arise around this moon is suffering versus grieving, which comes from resisting to accept a situation or a person as is. When we suffer, we give away our power and remain stuck in the past. When we grieve, we acknowledge our feelings, but we are still empowered, present and able to act. The tides truly are all over the place, and the gravitational pressure on our planet is palpable. Preparation and knowing what to do with all that energy is the key. A good idea is to account for an extra hour or so of sleep if possible. Sleep lets you build up the strength and energy you need to face the next day of emotional exchange. When the moon travels through Pisces we become more connected to our intuition and creative gifts. So, prepare for breakthroughs and progress in that area and take a pause in order to receive what the universe has in store for you. ~ Christine K.H ~ We are heading into an interesting weekend, as Mercury goes astray (retrograde) together with another full moon.
In Astrology, the planet Mercury involves how we perceive, interpret, and communicate information, yet the quality of its symbolic meaning varies depending on its path in the heavens above. Instead of moving fast and direct like usual, Mercury now shifts into a slower speed and then in backwards motion through the zodiac. Although the word 'retrograde' stems from the Latin meaning 'to go backward,' it's important to note that no planets move backward, they only appear to do so, owing to our Earth-bound perspective. During the entirety of Mercury retrograde, schedules are jumbled, and relations are fumbled; we say the wrong thing at the wrong moment and can find our most important plans foiled by misunderstandings. However, Mercury retrograde brings important opportunities for adjustment and adaptation. So, open your intuition to receive whatever messages Mercury will provide regarding shifts in story-lines or thought patterns gone stale. Remember, the key is to embrace being in between states of mind and to accept the fluidity of life rather than resisting change. ~Christine K.H |
