Coming up, we have an especially sensitive Astrological event and we may find ourselves overwhelmed by our feelings or the energies around us, even if we are not usually open to these subtle energies.
In Astrology, a full moon is a monthly occurrence during which the sun and moon are in opposite Zodiac signs.The moon governs our feelings, emotions and the ability to nurture ourselves. On the other side, we have the sun, ruling our identity, ego and sense of self. When these two powerful energies oppose, we have a lunar event that asks us to create a better understanding and balance between our heads and our hearts. One topic that might arise today is forgiveness, which for Pisces means to release. Suffering comes from resisting to accept a situation or a person as is, and it’s different than grieving. When we suffer, we give away our power and remain stuck in the past, helpless and victimized. When we grieve, we acknowledge our feelings, but we are still empowered, present and able to act. This full moon gently asks: What could you do that would make you free from suffering? With sensitivity on max, the veil between the spirit world and the living is thinner than ever. Experiences of coincidences, Deja Vu, symbolic dreams or past life memories could occur. The days around this full moon are an excellent time for daydreaming with an imaginative energy, compassion and calm, as we can flow easily with whatever changes may come. Now that the Leo season is reaching its end, prepare for a reality check with down-to-earth Virgo. Virgo teaches pragmatism and efficiency, and this is a good time to make lists, plans and schedules.
Work and practical matters, exercise and health as well as order and processes in general, all fall under the rule of Virgo. The Virgo new moon calls us back to a deliberate mind that has its eye on the details. Patience and reflection are called for and you should ask deep questions before making choices to make sure you are fully aligned with what you are choosing. Becoming completely certain prior to proceeding is a great focus at this lunar event. During a new moon, the sky is dark, symbolizing two things. One is the unknowing of what’s to come and to be okay during a period of darkness and uncertainty. This darkness also symbolizes the need to go within and to remove ourselves from the stimulus of the bright outside world. On a higher level, analyze this brightness. Using the detail oriented skill of Virgo you will see everything for what it truly is. On one hand, discipline, routines and setting goals rule the day. On the other hand, the energy surrounding us is about healing, solitude, gratefulness and to give to others.
