In truth, all full moons are about balance. Just like the sun and the moon, opposite of one another during a full moon, life is filled with duality. How we balance our individual needs with the desires of others will specifically now be called into question. This is because the moon will be in the sign of Libra, which rules partnership, diplomacy, compromise, romance and beauty.
This lunar event aspects Venus and Chiron. Healing in relationships is possible at this time—most importantly, the one that you have with yourself. Libra is known as the communication expert, teaching us to meditate in refined ways. So, how well do we connect with others, especially if they are socially, culturally or politically and religiously different than us? The moon will call for us to compromise, aim for tact and partner when possible, while the sun will want us to also ensure our own needs are accounted for and that we are speaking our truth. A good way to maximize the energy of this full moon is to write down any habits, beliefs or relationship struggles you wish to release and then destroy the paper your list was written on (preferably with fire) to represent the release. ~Christine K.H

When the moon occupies Pisces, we are directed to spiritual awareness and imaginative explorations. Pisces is an incredibly creative water sign and it needs fantasy the way we need oxygen, so embrace that need for fantasy and creativity. This potency of energy offers ripe conditions for creation, even though it’s common to feel a little blue around new moons as it tends be a more introverted time. The upside is, it’s a fantastic time for setting new intentions and getting clear on what you are consciously cultivating in your life. Pisces is a spiritual and intuitive sign, and today's new moon allows for new insights, or even breakthroughs, in soul awareness. This is when we seek to delete outer disturbances in exchange for spiritual elevations and revelations. Ask yourself: What could my soul's intention be, for coming into body? Am I following a spiritual or human path, and how can I combine them at best to reach full fruition on all levels? The new moon comes as a signal to leave the past in the past and to see the future as full of possibility.
