Summer solstice June 20th and then an eclipse, what is the Universe trying to say?
Just as new moons are linked to beginnings and full moons are tied to culminations, eclipses serve as celestial checkpoints. An eclipse is a high-octane occurrence that helps illuminate our karmic path, but just as these cosmic events can be visually striking, eclipses can be a bit dramatic. This solar eclipse will be in the sign of sentimental Cancer, which means we will have an emotional release of some sort. We will be cosmically forced to change the direction of our sense of security; meaning, we will change how we nurture ourselves and others. Solar eclipses are times of newness, but every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. The crab likes to hold on to people and situations tightly, and this eclipse will allow us to see who we should hold on to and who we should release. It truly is a glorious time for new beginnings both spiritually, emotionally and physically, and remember; 'The seeds we sow during the solar eclipse will bear fruit at next the lunar eclipse'. The first eclipse this summer falls in Sagittarius, giving us a powerful push to remove blindfolds and see world-events for what they really are. As we walk this Eclipse Gateway over the coming weeks, three in numbers, we will discover a new path emerging, one that is very different from the path we were walking before.
When the moon travels through the realm of Sagittarius, we feel strongly about truth and meaning, and to speak up for those beliefs. A lunar eclipse has ten times the potential of full moon, and often clears a path that helps accelerate our soul journey. We may receive some news that something in our life is coming to an end. Or, we may find that we are called to release and let go of something that we truly thought was serving us. Media feeds us with half-truths and whole-delusion, depending on us being passive and uncritical. This full moon is that beacon of your own truth, to analyze the stream of illusions and to see whether it resonates with your core wisdom or not.
