A new moon in Pisces - the sign of deep feelings and inner psyche - reminds us to dream big, but also to reflect on the importance of surrender. When we surrender we trust, and that is Pisces in a nutshell.
Pisces people feed on fantasy the way we need oxygen, and this somewhat introverted energy could be alarming for those who tend to escape real-life-situations. We could feel more pressure under this new moon or as if we’re on the heels of a massive shift—which we are. You may feel inspired, yet disillusioned. You may be overwhelmed with feelings, or you may have no idea how you feel. The key is to not bottle up. When embraced by the water energy it directs us to new insights, or even breakthroughs, in soul awareness. This is when we seek to delete outer disturbances in exchange for spiritual elevations and revelations. Ask yourself: What could my soul's intention be for coming into human form this time around? It is common around these lunar events to feel a little blue as it tends to be a more introverted time. The upside is, it’s a fantastic time for setting new intentions and getting clear on what you are consciously cultivating in your life. Pisces Note to Self: I work toward self-awareness in all aspects of my life. ~ Christine K.H ~ Be a vessel for healing.
In astrology Virgo is the ruler of work, duties, routines, thought patterns and physical health. Her highest vibration is healing and service, whereas the other easily falls into worrying thoughts and being overly critical to herself. If that's the case, then allow today's full moon to treat YOU for a change. This lunation is an extremely interesting period, one where we are trying to discern between emotion and logic, intuition and facts. The Pisces sun wants us to believe in our personal visions and the Virgo moon urges us to seek knowledge through analysis. Full moons are always about chapters closing and bringing things to completion or fulfillment. Wishes can come true but they don’t need to be big ones. One of our spirit guides once said: "You don't have to think so big. Send healing to yourself and the place where you have your feet. Imagine if everyone did so..." Virgo Note to Self: Life doesn’t need to be perfect, and most importantly, I don’t need to make the perfect decision every time. ~ Christine K.H ~ New moon - New Age, but are you ready to fight for it? If you have any Aquarian blood in you, the answer is - YES. The timing of this moon phase feels, and is, cosmically supercharged as Pluto, the transformer, just marched into Aquarius.
Aquarius represents freedom, revolution and innovation, and leads us to organizations and alliances, as well as new social platforms. No man is an island, and today's energy reminds us of the strength in numbers, unity and teamwork. Ask yourself:
We are moving into a new age and with Pluto in the mix great awakenings can occur. So ride this freedom movement and when you look back on this life you can proudly say - I WAS THERE! Aquarius Note to Self: I see worldly obstacles as opportunities for progress. ~ Christine K.H ~ When the moon beams fully in Leo, we are in the middle of winter with a huge thirst for those sunshine moments. Ruled by the sun, Leos are warmhearted and often characterized as the star in a crowd. Harnessing the kind of leadership skills, bravery, and magnetic personalities that grant them the front spotlight on any stage. So today, ask yourself:
Do I really allow myself to shine? How and where do I want to shine? Am I the leading actor in my life? Now, it has to be said. This full moon in Leo is built a little differently as Pluto just moved into Aquarius along with the sun, oposining Leo. In astrology, Pluto is known to clear away dead weight from our personal and collective lives, whether we're ready for it or not. If life feels a bit volatile, breathe in that Leo courage and know; it is possible to be brave and afraid in the same moment. Leos are all about Big Love and Open Hearts and this lunar event is the perfect time to begin developing self-love without conditions. It all begins by loving yourself for being you. Examine your heart and well-being with curiosity and courage, doing so will allow you to easily release what no longer serves you. Leo Note to Self: I bring strength and compassion to the world. ~ Christine K.H ~ The first new moon of the year carries a potent message: Are you willing to go that extra mile for that golden prize?
Capricorns are basically their own life coach – constantly getting clarity on their goals and putting all their energy into achieving them. Remember, Capricorn is a marathoner not a sprinter, so focus on deeply fulfilling, meaningful goals rather than quick fixes that might bring only momentary satisfaction. This lunar event is an excellent time to create a Vision Board and to reflect on your lifepath. Feel into what would really bring you joy and what path feels most aligned for you. Guidelines to ponder about: Am I heading in the right direction? What are my long-term and short-term goals? How can I live in accordance with the internal changes and ways in which I have transformed during last year? Time has come to confidently take the reins of self-leadership. True, it is important to ask others for guidance when we need it, yet there are instances where self-trust becomes imperative. Capricorn Note to Self: I define and I achieve. ~ Christine K.H ~ The last full moon of the year occurs in the home loving realm of Cancer, which also is the sign ruled by the moon. This time we are directed to look into our emotional sensitivity and well being, our home and family, and above all what we seek to improve, change or let go of in these areas.
Before we came into our bodies, our soul made a plan, or a map, of what it wanted and needed to experience, and what type of lessons it wanted to master. We all have the memory of that plan buried deep within us and with Cancer connected to what lies below the surface, this is an excellent time to allow that map to float up to your conscious self. Growing means to be honest with your needs and wishes, to realize what no longer serves you and to act on those beliefs. With the Moon in Cancer versus the Sun in Capricorn, here are some more things that will arise for evaluation during the holiday: Seriousness, limits, career, the public, authority and responsibilities (Capricorn) and close relationships, motherhood, feelings, vulnerability, private affairs and support (Cancer). Cancer affirmation: I allow myself and others the space and grace to evolve in the best possible ways. ~ Christine K.H ~ The new moon in Sagittarius will usher in bright, optimistic, and pleasant energy just ahead of the holiday season. This lunation imposes a newfound sense of abundance, inspiring expansion and travel and stokes our thirst for learning.
New moons in themselves always indicate a new chapter and in combination with the element FIRE, you can now get that long-awaited rekindling you're looking for. Ruled by go-big-or-go-home Jupiter, we will all feel like Pioneers in Spirit this week. This also means you can expect changes to revolve around truth and knowledge-seeking, belief systems and faith. So, lean into a progressive mindset. Plan your next adventure, stay present and leave your worries behind. Find your visionary eyes or perhaps the magician within. Do something new that makes you grow mentally and spiritually. And finally, put your dancing shoes on and celebrate yourself. Sagittarius affirmation: I believe in magic and therefore I see it.
