The new moon in Virgo comes as signal of fall, and that once again - it's back to work! As with all new moons, today is a great day to set new intentions because anything initiated between now and the next full moon will set the tone for what’s to come.
The new moon wishes we make today are in the areas ruled by Virgo: Work and practical matters, exercise and health as well as order and processes in general. Here are some ideas about setting intentions in different areas of your life: Health: Is it time to bounce up your health routine? Maybe this summer you knocked back a beer or two, and it's time to clean up the diet. Perhaps you let your workout regime slide a bit to have some fun this summer. Well, no shame there, though if you’re ready to get back on track, this lunar event provides great energy to easier recommit. Diet and exercise are certainly in the picture but don´t forget to look at your inner body, your soul, as this lunar light highlights our health overall. As within - so without! Organization: Are you feeling disorganized in any area of your life, home, work, or otherwise? Then set a strong intention to get organized and begin to take action today. We are passing through the atmosphere of Virgo where healing and wisdom of the body are guiding stars. On one hand, discipline, routines and setting goals rule the day. On the other hand, the energy surrounding us is about healing, solitude, gratefulness and to give to others. Embrace your weirdness!
You say you want a revolution? Well, here comes the Aquarius full moon to stir up your righteous urge for social justice, or the impulse to fight for what’s fair! Aquarius is the sign of groups, teams and humanity, and the full moon emphasizes on collaboration, commitment and to let go of those things we no longer need. Emotions normally run high during these peaks of lunar influence, but under the flag of Aquarius it could defiantly cool that restlessness down a bit. Aquarius is a highly idealistic sign and these souls can have utopian visions that are way ahead of their time. Today we all gaze into the future as our attention directs us to be unique, inventive and to think outside the box. We are surrounded by a forward looking energy, aiming for higher ideals combined with a diplomatic approach and care for the less fortunate in the World. So, raise your awareness above the self and look at how YOU, together with others, can be of use for a greater cause. This is a time for a radical upgrade in our thinking process, at the highest level to embrace what is unexplored and to support differences. The Aquarius moon also urges us to welcome the 'goofiness' in life, and to stop hiding the parts of ourselves that might be quirky, eccentric or just not in perfect harmony with the people around us.
