Theme: Conflicting dynamics! A new moon represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of another new 28 day cycle. This is an excellent time for making a fresh start, turning over a new leaf or starting a new project. During the new moon you can also question old habits, behaviors and beliefs as you search for new and inventive ways to make progress. The moon conjunct sun gives an invigorating burst of energy and initiative. This time it all plays out in Libra, the sign of communication, negotiation skills, teamwork, cooperation and balance. Nonetheless, with electric Uranus' opposition to this Libra new moon, throwing shock waves of change into our lives, surprises are more likely than stability. Libra wants to have harmony and peace, and wants to connect in a cooperative way. Uranus in opposite Aries is all about personal expression and independence and all together this creates a little bit of a conflict. Restlessness and impatience are likely to be present, combined with a strong need for freedom which can make you rebel against authority figures or restrictive partners. What is this new moon telling us? Well, for one thing we have the opportunity to stand out in social groups, to maintain a sense of individuality and to not be overly concerned about needing to please the group. The Libra statement is to stand out but to maintain a sense of grace, to mediate in refined ways and to be grateful. So, bring this into your consciousness and your personal relationships. Create your own unique stamp in the World but do it from the highest and most beautiful source - your soul! ~ Christine K.H ~

Theme: Soul & Self-discovery Jupiter is the planet of expansion, higher knowledge and the Avatar of truth, who helps us to find and follow our path of self-achievement. From October 10, 2017 to November 8, 2018, Jupiter descends into the swirling, secretive and sensual waters of Scorpio. While Jupiter was in Libra, we wanted things fair and democratic, now the scene is somewhat different. Scorpio’s fixation is on power - sexual and financial, with a drive to penetrate what lurks underneath the surface. Deep-diving Scorpio is known for being jealous and possessive, while experimental Jupiter is all about freedom. These energies are in a curious mix, pushing forward questions like: "Where is the line between commitment and ownership?" "How to maintain personal freedom within a permanent commitment?" Scorpio is associated with death and reincarnation, and with the presence of Jupiter, interests in the paranormal, life after death and the esoteric realms will bring forward thoughts such as: "Who am I beyond my body?" "Have a lived before?" "Where do I go when this life is over?" Both planet and sign are all about investigating and questioning, so now is the time to dive into your own depths for answers rather than to follow mainstream ideas. In general when Jupiter comes around, luck and fortune are evident, and if you have the Sun, Moon or Rising in Scorpio, you will now gain a higher sense of understanding of your true identity and purpose. ~ Christine K.H ~ Theme: Develop a greater sense of self and fight for what you want! When the moon becomes full in Aries, the sun is in Libra and we are reminded of two very different ways to handle obstacles in life. Now, there will always be things that you have to overcome or things that are going to get you down, but what voice do you follow? Aries When you believe in yourself, act and anything is possible. Libra: Don't forget some thoughtful consideration before you act Aries is the spontaneous first spark of the astrological cycle with a desire to be the head of the pack. This energy is about trusting yourself, finding your independence and marching forward in spite of it all, and in the direction that you know is right. The full moon urges us to cut ties with the old to make room for the new, asking one question only: What becomes possible now? Living in the past is no longer an option, living in the shadows is no longer an option. If you’ve been sticking around in a bad situation, you might want to cut your losses and move on. Your inner warrior is likely to make itself known near this full moon, one way or the other, but to be honest, your experience with an Aries moon might not be all hearts and roses. The key is not to react but to make a self-affirming and soul-affirming move. ~ Christine K.H ~ |
