January is Eclipse season and is acting like a doorway into different energy paths of breakthroughs, possibilities and abundance - IF we dare to walk the walk. And here enters Leo! Leo is the sign connected to the heart, they pure joy and romantic force. This energy doesn’t ask for permission and it doesn’t ask "is this right or wrong?". Coming straight from the heart, Leos are guided by a burning desire, which outshines all doubts, as they tap straight into an intuitive stream of understanding.

This fiery Full Moon Eclipse will be enhanced with some extra positive vibes as Jupiter and Venus will be conjunct in Sagittarius – making a flowing trine aspect to Mars in Aries. So we have leadership energy highlighted by the Leo Moon, brought into full view by the delightful optimism of the Sagittarius planets.

Use this Full Moon to feel good about all that you’ve accomplished in January. Remember to value the inner work you’ve done in your consciousness, as well as the work you can measure in the physical world.

This lunar event sure is a bringer of confidence and glorious rewards for those who follow that torch. Whatever is shaking you up and whatever stops you in your familiar tracks, embrace it because it could be the ultimate gift from the Universe directing you to happiness and divine inspiration.

I once did a life-between-lives-regression where the client wanted to know where her depression came from. Her spirit guide told her that on a scale from 1-10, one being on track with ones soul mission and ten completely off, depression was a sign of someone being around eight. She was also told that the first sign when things might lead the soul astray was how life and the world around seemed to lack color. This session was profound on so many levels, not only for her personally but as advice for all of us.

Your soul has your map, but sometimes we just need a little reminder on how to use that compass. And like our spirit friend Bob says: “Life comes in like a color book - how you color it, and what colors you use, is up to you”.

Boom - what a way to start the new year with two Eclipses here in January! This first Eclipse in Capricorn is a powerful push to establish a new level of personal discipline. You'll have a special opportunity to review your relationships with personal integrity, perseverance and commitment. Be ready to embrace the concept of being obedient to the divine signals you receive around this New Moon.

Whenever we are surrounded by the Capricorn energy we get productive, we stand tall and simply start moving towards our goals. However, sometimes in life we might not know what those goals really are, and if that's the case then today use this very organized influence to start making a plan. Capricorn isn’t a fast moving sign, these folks get better with age. Its cardinal modality encourages action and the utility of its resources, but the actions that Capricorns take are best appreciated by the kind of perspective that only time can grant us.

Today, also ask yourself how often you rebel against the pressure you feel from perceived expectations from the world.
