New moon Virgo ~ Sept 7, 2021

Now that the Leo season is reaching its end, prepare for a reality check with down-to-earth Virgo. Virgo teaches pragmatism and efficiency, and this is a good time to make lists, plans and schedules.

Work and practical matters, exercise and health as well as order and processes in general, all fall under the rule of Virgo. The Virgo new moon calls us back to a deliberate mind that has its eye on the details. Patience and reflection are called for and you should ask deep questions before making choices to make sure you are fully aligned with what you are choosing. Becoming completely certain prior to proceeding is a great focus at this lunar event.

During a new moon, the sky is dark, symbolizing two things. One is the unknowing of what’s to come and to be okay during a period of darkness and uncertainty. This darkness also symbolizes the need to go within and to remove ourselves from the stimulus of the bright outside world. On a higher level, analyze this brightness. Using the detail oriented skill of Virgo you will see everything for what it truly is.

On one hand, discipline, routines and setting goals rule the day. On the other hand, the energy surrounding us is about healing, solitude, gratefulness and to give to others. Breath in the spirit of Virgo and don't forget to look inward before you look outward.
