New moon Sagittarius ~ December 18, 2017

Sagittarius is a fire sign in the mutable modality and we have an incredible concentration of mutable energy at this new moon! We have the Sun and Moon conjunct, we have Mercury retrograde plus Venus also in Sagittarius and we have Saturn about to exit the sign, and all this points the way to really understand the Sagittarian energy.

This new moon directs us to go with the flow, to seek out an inspired vision with the opportunity to become part of something bigger than ourselves. Enthusiasm rises with this moon, and we connect with the desire to expand our limits. So, allow yourself to be spontaneous and trust that if things change, then there might be a higher purpose to it. Sagittarius people are idealists and have a tendency to speak out, both their own visions but also where they feel others are most likely to shine. Another part of this combined energy, especially kudos to Saturn, is saying:

• Embrace reality and situations right in front of you.
• Accept people for where they are, despite the fact that you might be able to see where they could be.
• Be inspired by potential but not attached to it

With all new moons we start a new cycle, and today with the last one of the year, we sense the new one in the horizon. Sagittarius is all about travels and higher knowledge, so what would you like to learn, see, explore in 2018? Anything that expands your heart and mind is highly favored by this lunar event and directs us to surrender, play and feel the lightness of spirit.
