New moon Libra ~ October 19, 2017

Theme: Conflicting dynamics!

A new moon represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of another new 28 day cycle. This is an excellent time for making a fresh start, turning over a new leaf or starting a new project. During the new moon you can also question old habits, behaviors and beliefs as you search for new and inventive ways to make progress.

The moon conjunct sun gives an invigorating burst of energy and initiative. This time it all plays out in Libra, the sign of communication, negotiation skills, teamwork, cooperation and balance. Nonetheless, with electric Uranus' opposition to this Libra new moon, throwing shock waves of change into our lives, surprises are more likely than stability. 

Libra wants to have harmony and peace, and wants to connect in a cooperative way. Uranus in opposite Aries is all about personal expression and independence and all together this creates a little bit of a conflict. Restlessness and impatience are likely to be present, combined with a strong need for freedom which can make you rebel against authority figures or restrictive partners.

What is this new moon telling us? Well, for one thing we have the opportunity to stand out in social groups, to maintain a sense of individuality and to not be overly concerned about needing to please the group. The Libra statement is to stand out but to maintain a sense of grace, to mediate in refined ways and to be grateful.

So, bring this into your consciousness and your personal relationships. Create your own unique stamp in the World but do it from the highest and most beautiful source - your soul!
