New moon Capricorn ~ December 29, 2016

We're rounding up the year with the new moon in Capricorn, allowing us to tap into our own sense of ambition in order to get clear over what we want to achieve in 2017.

While Mercury, the planet of communication, still is in retrograde motion, events may not unfold on the new moon itself but it is a perfect time to plan and visualize for the months ahead. Capricorn folks are mostly concerned with the mundane realities of existence. Being one of the more serious signs they get things done and succeed through hard work and determination. Under this influence we are drawn to earth-wisdom and to stand firmly rooted in tradition or area of knowledge on the path to mastery.

With this lunar event, ponder where your true talents lie. What is your contribution to the world? How will you make your mark? What kinds of skills, training or real-world experience do you need to be confident as an authority? Is there a balance between your responsibilities and time, or could you manage it differently?
In the end, the Capricorn moon is about knowing what situations will create most harmony for you in the long run. So, take a little time and see what aspirations have been lit up, gather information needed and use the earthly empowerment to fulfill your destined potential.
