Spring into action!

In Aries, Mercury just turned direct and what better way to celebrate than with a new moon in this highly assertive sign. Aries is the pioneering energy of the zodiac. It is forward moving, fast, direct, and likes to take the lead. As the first sign of the zodiac, it is also associated with ‘birth’ following the dreamy and spiritual sign of Pisces. At this time of year we generally start to feel more alive and willing to take action and/or possibly explore new territory. Under this influence the essence of a situation, or what needs to happen next, becomes clear. Still, we need to be aware of the present dynamics and act wisely. How we use our own natural drive is key to our development and Aries is here to tell us that a warrior spirit deals with life in a graceful yet powerful way.

We're also reminded to be playful and to embrace our youthful vitality where life is fun and limitless. Here are some questions to maximize the mojo of the zodiac’s ram:

• How do you want to be perceived by others?
• Are you the leading person in your life?

• Have you compromised and settled at the expense of your own well being and happiness?
• Do you harness your personal energy or does it poor in all directions?

With all this newness energy, it may be tempting to expect easily earned outcomes. However, just because the cosmos are pushing you into action does not mean the path will be easy or completely obstacle free. Another side to the Aries moon reminds us to be prepared before taking action and to avoid rushing into things.
