Full moon Gemini ~ December 3, 2017

At the same time Mercury, the planet of communication and ruler of Gemini, goes retrograde we also have a full moon. Mercury retrogrades in Sagittarius, the sign opposite Gemini so all together it feels like the Gemini qualities are very central the upcoming weeks.

Both planet and sign are linked to communication, travel and social interaction, expressing a need to engage by sharing and exploring new ideas. The full moon is about closure, bringing decision and action to the table, whereas a planet in retrograde motion tends to slow things down, urging us to reflect. Two very different approaches!

Every full moon asks that you release one thing in your life in order to create space for the new so as you read these below, ask yourself what you can let go of to make room for the new chapter to begin. Change will never happen easily if we do not first create the empty space in our lives. So making room will be the first step of your full moon manifestation.

Some things to focus on:

• Listen! When you listen you create space.
• Find a kindred spirit and collaborate with someone whose skills complement yours.
• Let go of things driving you crazy, especially if you can't do anything about them.
• Rethink how you get around. Could you shrink that carbon footprint by carpooling?
• Examine and clarify the message you put out there through every visual presentation of yourself (website, speaking style, social media)

This lunar event might be less of a "quick fix" than other full moons, instead pay attention to what unfolds in your life after December 22nd when Mercury goes direct again. Breath in the spirit of Gemini, embrace the fact that everything changes, nothing stays the same!
