Full moon Cancer ~ Dec 29th, 2020

Even though this year has turned things upside down in many ways, it is important we look back on the gifts. What gifts were sent your way this year? What did you learn? What did you discover? How have you grown?

As the Moon returns to her favorite spot in our sky, she is able to express her powers to the fullest.The Moon represents our emotions, but also what makes us feel safe and secure as well as our ability to nurture ourselves and to take care of our emotional needs. Each full moon also addresses any imbalances between the two signs involved, and today the attention is on private affairs (Cancer) and the public eye (Capricorn), a very current issue this year. Both signs have a huge need for comfort and security but in different ways. Capricorn seeks a materialistic foundation often related to their work as of Cancer seeks security based on emotions and through their family.

So much of our safety and security has been up for evaluation this year, but the Moon reminds us that all is not lost. She reminds us that we always have the power to create safety. Today, allow yourself to take the time to listen to the needs of your body, heart, and soul. There has been much attention, and even fear, placed on the state of our health this year, so take a pause to honor, nourish, and attend to your own well-being.
