Full moon Cancer ~ Dec 27, 2023

The last full moon of the year occurs in the home loving realm of Cancer, which also is the sign ruled by the moon. This time we are directed to look into our emotional sensitivity and well being, our home and family, and above all what we seek to improve, change or let go of in these areas.

Before we came into our bodies, our soul made a plan, or a map, of what it wanted and needed to experience, and what type of lessons it wanted to master. We all have the memory of that plan buried deep within us and with Cancer connected to what lies below the surface, this is an excellent time to allow that map to float up to your conscious self. Growing means to be honest with your needs and wishes, to realize what no longer serves you and to act on those beliefs.

With the Moon in Cancer versus the Sun in Capricorn, here are some more things that will arise for evaluation during the holiday: Seriousness, limits, career, the public, authority and responsibilities (Capricorn) and close relationships, motherhood, feelings, vulnerability, private affairs and support (Cancer).
