Full moon Cancer ~ January 12, 2017

Theme: Take time off social media - take time for family!

This month’s full moon introduces us to the Cancer/Capricorn polarity as in the sky these two signs sit exactly opposite one another. Each full moon is a time for conclusion, ending and completion when we're asked to understand the two signs involved and their qualities and to somehow integrate them into a more balanced expression. 

Cancer governs our emotional nature, vulnerability, our family and close relationships. Capricorn on the other hand rules career, individuality and responsibilities. Today the attention is brought to balance our private affairs (Cancer) with the public eye (Capricorn), taking us to the very core of what truly is important.

This lunar event will remind us that there are all kinds of ways to be successful, and not all of them can be measured with a calculator or with how many photos or likes we have on social media. Family, community, and tradition are the soul-nourishing realm of Cancer, the essential counterpart to Capricorn’s desire for worldly achievement.

Cancer is also in tune with what lies underneath the surface, our soul and the subconscious and it´s an excellent time to explore your dreams and what they're telling you. Our nurturing skills are heightened but our biggest challenge is to love ourselves and to remember that we have never been separated from Source.

So, start this new year by giving yourself the promise to care for your own body, mind and soul. Release all the things you don't need from 2016 in order to create a prosperous 2017 and simply breath in the spirit of Cancer!
